Recorder Checklist
In order to make a nice sound on the recorder you must practice the following:
1.) Posture:
- Sitting up straight with your feet flat on the floor.
- The Left Hand on top while the Right Hand holds the foot.
2.) Breathing:
- Blowing Warm, Soft, Slow, Air through the recorder (WSSA)
3.) Embouchure:
- Recorder sits gently on your bottom lip but does not touch your teeth.
- Top lip sits gently on top of recorder.
4.) Attack
- Tongue saying the word "Too" while blowing.
